Hi - we are NUMECA!

CFD and CAS Software

… this is what we do! We are highly specialized in all questions concerning computational fluid dynamics (CFD), acoustic simulations (CAA) as well as optimisation and meshing solutions.

Consultancy

At our site in Altdorf, we offer advice and support to both our well-known customers and those who are yet to become one. Our consulting service is clearly defined: you benefit from our expertise in the CFD and CAA segment, e.g. in the field of turbomachines and their optimisation.

Projects

We provide assistance for your simulation projects and develop precise solutions tailored to your needs. Would you like to know how? Please feel free to look around and find out for yourself!

Flutter Analysis: For Safer Air Travel

Flutter Analysis: For Safer Air Travel

Recent aviation accidents have revealed deficiencies in engines and maintenance processes and emphasized the importance of thorough preflight checks. History also shows that structural phenomena such as flutter can cause serious accidents, such as the crash of the F-117. To increase safety, flutter tests are now a central part of aircraft development. With the industry-wide “shift left” approach, early, multidisciplinary FSI simulations are becoming increasingly important as they more accurately represent the interaction between aerodynamics and structure, thereby improving the reliability of modern aircraft.
